Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes move to Middlesbrough's has collapsed, so should Sunderland step in?

Both sides in the Championship had agreed a fee’s, which was been reported at around the 9 million pounds mark, with another 2 million pounds worth of add on’s. – It was well report of Sunderland’s summer transfer window interest before the signing of Borini, it’s easy to see that 9 million pounds will make his current club Blackburn happy.

But the reason that Boro couldn’t jump that final hurdle was down to the player’s personal terms.  Surely Sunderland could offer more, although that could be if Rhodes’s demands aren’t too over board!
