On loan defender John Mensah is hoping to take part in Sunderlands forth coming fixture against Arsenal after lengthy spells on the side lines.
The Ghanaian has been plagued with injuries since joining the Black Cats on a season long loan deal. Being involved in only three games so far this season the big centre back is desperate to prove his worth, in hope to earn himself a permanent contract at the end of the season. Sunderland have put in some fantastic performances against some of the best the Premiership has to offer. But Mensah will have to be in top form to keep a currently inform Arsenal side at bay, if he can keep the likes of Fabregas quite he will most certainly be in Bruce’s good books.
