Roy O'Donovan sent to Coventry

Flop striker Roy O'Donovan has signed for Coventry City today, ending speculation linking him to several clubs sinces the end of last season.

The Irishman was signed for Sunderland by Roy Keane on a three year contract but failed to impress at the Black Cats, being sent out on several loan deals to a range of clubs.

His last being Hartlepool United in which he had a successful spell, although O'Donovan was available on a free transfer the Monkey Hangers could not reach the wage demands of the failed striker.
