SAFC's start just gets worse! - M'Vila facing a ban!

So if getting hammered 4-2 by Leicester City in the opening game of Sunderland’s season wasn’t bad enough, today’s under 21’s fixture just added to the awful start.

Sunderland were just simple abysmal yesterday, no disrespect to Leicester but the game was made easy for them by the Black Cats having a defence that just may have well not turned up, and the midfield weren’t much better.

BUT – then today Sunderland’s latest signing, French International Yann M’Vila decided to get himself involved in a bit of handbags on the pitch which ended up with him head butting one of Norwich’s players.

The ref dished out the instant Red card, M’Vila will now surely be facing a ban without even kicking a first team ball, I guess this is the bad boy reputation on show early!

On a positive note, M’Vila showed some fantastic ball control, reading the game and his passing stood out, although seems to lack some fitness, which is why he was playing for the under 21’s in the first place.
