After leaving Sunderland last January, Saha was signed to fill in for Miroslav Klose, who sustained a knee injury in early February.

Saha featured in 3-0 losses to Siena and most recently AC Milan.

Louis Saha: "It's an unexpected adventure.

"Having played in the Premier League for most of my career, to come to a different league, approach football in a different language, it's not easy.

"But I'm really enjoying learning with every training session and every minute out on the pitch.

"There's a lot of competition, but there's still a long way to go in the season. I've been unlucky to have played in two heavy defeats.

"When I came off the bench, it wasn't in the best conditions. I hope that'll change.

"I'm really making the most of this adventure. You don't get to play at the top level for 30 years. I'm trying to enjoy it, to fight to get some playing time, but also some trophies.

"It's everyone's dream to play in the Champions League, whether you're a 19-year-old youngster or a 34-year-old bloke. To prolong my adventure and play in that competition here, it wouldn't be bad if I could score ten goals or so."
