Some newspapers have run with a report of Sunderland will once again go after the signature of Swansea City’s attacking midfielder Andre Ayew.

Big Sam Allardyce was in for the Ghanaian International back in January but had offers knocked back.

But today its reported that the Black Cats are ready to stick a 10 million pound offer in once the new transfer window opens.  It goes on to say that the Welsh outfit are ready to listen to offers for one of their top earners, in order to free up funds for their own signings.

Although Sunderland signed Wahbi Khazri, who has hit the ground running in his move to the premier league, playing a massive part in Sunderland’s survival.   Allardyce has made no secret of his intensions of strengthening the Black Cats, to avoid another season fight a relegation battle.
