Simpson at Manchester United
"I'd jump at the chance"
Danny Simpson has asked Roy Keane if he can make his loan move from Manchester United a permanent one. Danny really seems to be enjoying life at Sunderland and proves that the club is moving in the right direction when players want to leave Man United and sign for us after a very short loan period. Will Evans follow...

Danny had this to say "Nothing was said about a permanent move when I joined on loan - the deal was just until the end of the season. But if the chance of a permanent move to Sunderland came up I'd jump at it.

"At Sunderland I've had the chance to play in the first team and it's been terrific. This is a massive club - it is up there with the best.

"I didn't really appreciate that until I came here, but now I have seen it for myself I know it should be up there in the top flight."
