Stead Heads To Pride Park

Stead, who hasn't had the best of times at Sunderland, completed a 3-month loan deal today and is expected to be in the starting line-up versus Plymouth on Sunday - alongside Durham-born Steve Howard.

The former-Huddersfield and Blackburn striker still hasn't revealed whether he would like the move ot be a permanent one but Roy Keane has said he will not stand in Stead's way should he want to leave Wearside for good.
