A Sunderland butcher has created the Italian-themed taste sensation in honour of the Italian’s arrival at the Stadium of Light.
Stirk’s, in Grangetown, sold out of 30lbs of the Di Canio banger in under an hour after launching it at the weekend.
John Stirk: “I love the fella and think he is going to be great for us, and I think it is what the club needs.”
