The 23-year old played for Zambia in the the African Cup of Nations, but there is confusion as to his current contract at his club.
TP Mazembebelieve he is contracted until 2015, while his agent claims his current deal expired in December, meaning he was free to join move on.
Reading took him on a one-week trial in late January and personal terms were in place, but no move materialised.
