Sunderland to gain on dead wood

Sporting Lisbon has admitted that they want to keep Sebastian Coates’ once his loan move contract is up this summer.

Coates who struggled in the premier league not only at Sunderland but playing for Liverpool too, but seems to have found his level playing for Sporting Lisbon. 

The Uruguay international went on loan from Sunderland this season after signing last summer before spending a season on Wearside with a loan deal there also.

The giant centre back had a good first season on loan at Sunderland, which in turn gained him a permanent deal.  Since then he struggled to regain that form, and since gain himself a loan move out.

Sporting are said to be going to meeting Sunderland’s 4 million evaluation of the defender who has been playing some of his best football.
