Over the last couple of days Manchester United’s legend Ryan Giggs has be linked to a move to Sunderland.
The confusing part would be in what capacity?
If the newspapers are to be believed Giggs went after the Swansea manager’s job, but was knocked back in favour for American Bob Bradley.
Now Giggs is rumoured to in line for a move to Sunderland, ex Sunderland legend Micky Gray believes he’d be great as the new manager.
A new manager? Just how much can we put into this? David Moyes is still at the helm of the team, there are murmurs which are gorwing from a section of the fans wanting rid of him. It’s down to the chairman and the board on just how long they will back the manager, maybe Giggs comes in as Moyes’ assistant?
Personally unless you have inside info, it’s crazy to speculate – although something needs to be done and done soon, if Sunderland wants to stand any chance of staying up for another season.
