It's time to get serious now, this is when we will really make a difference. Sunderland is buzzing now and the players and manager will feel they can put Geordie Steve Bruce and his side to the Sword tomorrow night at St Andrews and they'll not be the only ones.

Normally I would be nervous going into such a game, but I'm really not in the slightest. Our cousins at Footy Mad have got us down for an away win and that shows how much we have improved as a team. I bet there aren't many teams that have been fancied to come away with the points at their ground this season, but we are.

Dean Whithead has picked up 5 yellow cards now so will miss the Debry game, but is availble for this game. Graham Kavanagh is doing well after his op, but is still out. Stephen Elliott is still another 6 weeks away. Bar that everybody else is available and fit.

I'm going for an unchanged side against the blues.

Team to face Birmingham

Fulop

Simpson, Nosworthy, Evans, Collins

Edwards, Miller (L), Whitehead, Hysen

Connolly, John

Subs: Fulop, Yorke, Stokes, Varga, Leadbitter

Prediction

Birmingham have some good players, but they don't have the pace that we have in Hysen and Edwards who could quite possibly be the two quickest wingers in the league. We are the form team and our football is flowing and pacey. I'm going to agree with the Footy Mad men on this one. It's another 3 points for the Mackems, another clean sheet and another step closer to automatic promotion.

Score

Birmingham 0 Sunderland 2

Scorers

Edwards and Connolly
