Former Sunderland loanee player Marcos Alonso has been ripping up the Italian top league with Fiorentina, with some outstanding performances he is getting noticed again. If reports in the Italian media are right the premier league's Man City could well be after the defender in the summer.
Some reports have gone as far to say that Man City have already touched base with Alonso’s agent, but ialso said that they won’t be the only team to be interested in the left back.
Man City would be expected to pay around the 15 million euros mark, but that would be a drop in the ocean when considering some of City’s past signings.
The left back signed a new deal with Fiorentina in January, but the pulling power that is Man City that would again mean nothing.
