The Prophet: Expected Sunderland stating 11 for coming season!

Sunderland have now made 5 signing so far with key players Jason McAteer, Phil Babb, Joachim Bjorkland, Paul Thirlwell and Tommy Smith all leaving the club, so name our starting 11 for start season.

Don't expect the side to look much different, at least for the start of season anyway.

I am also backing all the new boys to make their start.

This is who I'd personally have as the starting 11, but Mick may well have other plans. I could never predict the exact starting 11, but here's who I think would best line-up.

Other players that could quite easily be in the team are Colin Healy, Sean Thornton, Matt Piper, George McCartney, Grant Leadbitter, Marcus Stewart, Darren Williams, Ben Clark and Thomas Mhyre. You can add Darren Byfield and John Oster to that list if they sign new contracts.

As you can see, Mick McCarthy will have some sized squad for a first division club, oooops, let me re-word that, some sized squad for a Premiership club in the first division (The Championship)!!!
