The Sunderland Prophet - Sunderland AFC V Chester City

If Sunderland are to have any chance of promotion, then they need to improve on what I've seen so far this season. Poor against Coventry, Plymouth and QPR. None of those teams are title contenders and we've only picked up a point out of those three. The defence need to get their finger out and shouldn't be giving away goals like we have, with the defenders we've got

The only good thing to come out of this very poor start to the season, is the emergence of Liam Lawrence who seems better than John Oster in just 4 games and the form of Marcus Stewart.

I'm expecting Mick to ring the changes on Tuesday with most the fring and injured players making a start.

Sunderland need a boost from their latest set back and I'm expecting us to take a narrow victory
