Winger Pens New Deal

The 21-year-old winger, who joined the Black Cats from Stockport last season, has put pen to paper on a one year contract extension.

"Welshy deserves his contract extension," manager Mick McCarthy told the clubs official website.

"His attitude has been magnificent and he has worked harder than anyone to improve physically and technically."
