Wolves Want Edwards Stay

The Sunderland winger is currently on loan with the Championship leaders until the end of the year but there chief executive, Jez Moxey has said that he hope's to keep the player at The Molineux until the end of the season.

"Mick McCarthy has spoken to someone there and we're told we might be able to keep him longer," Moxey told the Express & Star newspaper.

"We'd hope to keep him for at least to the end of the loan period."

Edwards' loan deal at Wolves is due to expire on 28th December.
