American Technology Set for the SOL

The Sunderland chairman revealed the proposal at one of his roadshow evenings.

He had been observing match days on Wearside closely and noticed that most songs are started off in the south-west corner, yet by the time the north stand start singing it - if they do at all - the south-westerners have stopped.

The new technology would see sounds from parts of the stadium transmitted to other parts, thus producing an all-round atmosphere.

With bigger crowds each and every week - this technology would be a huge help to Sunderland's stretch for success.
