Championship side Birmingham City are said to have accepted a bid from Sunderland for midfielder Craig Gardner.
Gardner, 24 year old is reportedly coming up to Wearside this week to hold talks with club officials, in a deal that is worth around 5 million pounds. The goal scoring midfielder was outstanding for the midlands club last season although he could not prevent the team being from relegated.
