Former SAFC and NUFC academy player behind bars.

A former academy player who was at both Sunderland and Newcastle has appeared at Crown Court, for threating a friend with a replica hand gun after a fall out.

Allan Taylor who was due to make a return to football in the Northern Leagues has now found himself behind bars, after sending a series of threating text messages to his former friend.  The threats included a photo of Taylor holding both a gun and a machete.

Mr Stephenson who was on the receiving end of these threats was so worried that he ordered his girlfriend and child to leave there Washington home, where Taylor was parked outside.  Pointing a gun out of the window and shouting out threats.

Taylor has been jailed for 2 years, for possession of a Imation fireman with intent.
