"The last 20 minutes was gutless and embarrassing," he sdaid after the game.
"It might be unfair to criticise all the players. Because of injuries four, five or six of them would not be in the side.
"I am asking these players to perform week in week out when they were brought in as cover. It's a huge disappointment but we are suffering and we are all finding it tough.
"We will keep scrapping and it's no use talking of who might come in during the transfer window, what the players we have here have to do is convince them to come. I've had a successful formula in the past and we'll keep trying to find another one.
"It might be a good time to be playing Liverpool on Wednesday night because they will come here with everybody expecting them to turn us over."
