The Sunderland Echo has confirmed the arrivals of Valentin Roberge (pictured right), Cabral and Modibo Diakite.
All three arrive on Bosman deals.
Sunderland AFC has been reluctant to confirm their signings while they remained under contract at their respective clubs.
Those contracts, though, expire at the end of the month and Sunderland moved yesterday to address the obvious – that the trio will arrive on Wearside in July.
All three were out of contract at their clubs – Roberge (26) at Portuguese side CS Maritimo, Cabral (24) at Swiss side Basel and Diakite (26) at Lazio.
Roberge and Diakite are both centre-halves. Cabral operates usually as a defensive midfielder.
